The circles

Twelve people who are where you are.

A circle is defined by a stage of life, not a job title — because two people running very different businesses at the same stage have far more to say to each other than two people in the same industry who are ten years apart.

Building & backing

CIR—EF

Early-stage founders

Pre-revenue to your first ₹1Cr. The stage where everything is your fault, money is a countdown, and nobody tells you that this is what it's supposed to feel like.

OpenDelhi · Mumbai
CIR—GF

Growth-stage founders

₹1–50Cr. Product problems have been replaced by people problems, and you are allowed to admit that you miss product problems.

OpenDelhi · Bangalore
CIR—FS

Funded & scaling

Post Series A. New board, new pressure, and a version of yourself you have to perform in nine meetings a week.

WaitlistBangalore
CIR—RN

Raising now

A time-boxed circle that runs for six months. Everyone in it is in the middle of a round, which means nobody has to explain the mood.

CIR—IN

Investors

Angels and early-stage funds. Deliberately kept out of founder circles — a room stops being honest the moment someone in it might write a cheque.

WaitlistDelhi · Mumbai
CIR—OP

Senior operators

Heads of function at companies you've heard of. All the responsibility of a founder and none of the equity conversation.

FormingGurugram

Life & work

The circles we care most about, and the ones the rest of the category ignores because they are harder to sell sponsorships against.

CIR—HM

Homemakers

Running a household is a general management job with no title, no review cycle and no colleagues. This circle treats it like the work it is.

OpenDelhi NCR
CIR—BJ

Between jobs

The hardest circle to walk into and the one people thank us for most. Always free to attend, funded by the rest of the house.

CIR—ST

Students

Final year and the two years after. The stretch where everyone around you sounds certain and not one of them actually is.

FormingDelhi NCR
CIR—SI

Second innings

People starting something after forty. Different fears, different maths, and very little written for them.

Making things

CIR—CR

Creators

The audience is real, the income is lumpy, and the algorithm does not care how you're feeling this week.

WaitlistMumbai
CIR—PA

Painters & illustrators

Studio practice, gallery politics, and the specific loneliness of work that takes months and is judged in seconds.

FormingDelhi NCR
CIR—PM

Potters & makers

People who work with their hands and are tired of explaining why that counts as a career. Meets in studios, not restaurants.

FormingDelhi NCR
CIR—MP

Models & performers

An industry that judges you by the hour. A room where nobody is looking at you that way, with a stricter privacy policy than any other circle.

How circles are built

The composition rules.

These are the constraints our matching runs against. They exist because a badly composed circle is worse than no circle.

01

Twelve seats, eight minimum

Under eight and the room goes quiet. Over fourteen and it splits into two conversations.

02

Seventy per cent same stage

The rest come from an adjacent stage, so the room has someone slightly ahead in it.

03

No direct competitors

Two people building the same thing cannot be honest in front of each other, and it isn't fair to ask them to be.

04

Investors stay out of founder circles

Unless it is an explicitly labelled deal room, which is a different product entirely.

05

Matched on disclosure speed

The single strongest predictor of whether a circle survives. Someone who opens up in week one and someone who needs a year should not be in the same twelve.

06

A person signs off

Every match is reviewed by a host before the invitation goes out.

Chapters

Delhi first. Then Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai.

A chapter opens when there is a trained host free to hold the room — not when there is demand for one.
