What it costs, and why.

Events are priced at what they cost us to run. Membership is separate, and it exists for one reason: a free room fills up with people who were not going to come anyway.

On pricing

We'd rather explain it than hide it.

"At cost" means the direct cost of the evening — venue, food, production, the host's stipend — plus the operational load it takes to run it properly. It is not a margin. It is the real number.

We could have made the tickets cheaper by pretending the ops don't cost anything. Every community that does this quietly runs out of money in year two and starts cutting the parts that made it good. We'd rather show you the maths.

The membership fee is not really about revenue either. It is a filter. People who have paid for a seat turn up, and a circle where three people don't turn up is a circle that dies at meeting three. If ₹9,000 is genuinely the thing standing between you and a room you need, write to us — we keep a small number of assisted places every quarter and we don't make a fuss about them.

Questions people actually ask

Before you apply.

Q

What if I get matched to a circle I don't like?

Tell your host after the first meeting and we'll move you. It happens, it costs you nothing, and we'd rather move you than lose you.

Q

Is this networking?

Useful things do come out of it, but if you join to sell something you will have a bad time and probably a short membership. See the no-pitch rule.

Q

Who sees what I say in a circle?

The eleven people in the room and the host. Nothing is recorded, nothing is written up, and partners never sit in circles.

Q

Can I bring my co-founder or my spouse?

To chapter nights and experiences, yes. Not into your circle — people are markedly less honest in front of someone they'll go home with.

Q

What happens if I miss meetings?

Two in a row and your host will call you. Not to tell you off — usually that's when someone needs the room most and can't face it.

Q

Can I cancel?

Any time, pro-rated for whole unused months. Nobody has to talk to a retention agent.

What you are joining

Membership is not access to a calendar. It is a seat that stays yours.
